Steel arch buildings generally do not require framing, columns or posts, since they feature arched steel panels that support the walls and the roof. One factor that makes steel buildings so popular nowadays is that they can be built in a relatively short period of time compared to structures that use traditional materials. This is of course an important factor in the world of construction when meeting deadlines is always a primary consideration. The speed in which steel buildings can be constructed is mainly due to the pre engineering of the different components in a factory, after which they are shipped to the construction site where they are assembled. Steel buildings also offer the advantage of being easy to expand if needed.
