A place about metal barns

Quonset huts are basically semi cylindrical metallic structure which are very light in weight used as a storage house called Quonset huts. To add strength and resistance from getting corroded the sheet of iron or of any iron based alloy is galvanized with a relatively resistant metal like Zinc or Tin and is bent in a shape of a semi circle. It is a piquant surprise to know that the first entity to manufacture and user of this innovative product were the USA navy. It is well known that most of the inventions of the world are a result of the desire to fulfill the needs of the humans in a specific type of environment and Quonset huts are no exception. Most importantly the structure of the Quonset huts is weatherproof and allows no leakage which is a common threat to most of the perishable material that need storage.
